Thu, 30 November 2006 universe unfolds.
for us one song at a time.
for music hath charms.
...
This is a supplimental feed to 'Tranquil Music by Heath'. This will give me freedom to put up everything.
I had a good gig today; this is it. The folks at the Med Center hired me to play their very nice Kawai studio grand in the lobby. I haven't played such a nice piano in years. For the record, this is Live at the Upper Peninsula Medical Center, 2006 November 30, at Noon: an improvisational fantasy on 'Lament for the Lost', 'Swoopy for Derek', and 'Invention, Part Two' - intermodulated, sequed, turned inside-out, broiled, steamed, sauteed, doused with alcohol, set on fire, and served on a libsyn stick.
Swoopy and Derek of Skepticality (podcast) honoured me by playing something of mine recently. It inspired me to play this very extended acoustic fantasy - with 'Swoopy for Derek' incorporated into its convoluted texture. So, here it is. I hope you like it. Enjoy.
